Core NAP, the most flexible data center solutions provider in Central Texas, today announced that it has completed the expansion of usable raised floor data center space from 7,500 square feet to 10,000 square feet and an expansion of infrastructure support space to a total of 5,000 square feet to meet increasing customer demand.
The expansion in Core NAP’s facility is an evolution of the company’s mission to be a visionary and responsible data center by consistently implementing the latest clean energy technology in order to keep costs down for its customers and address environmental concerns.
As with the existing facility, Core NAP’s engineers built the new portion themselves, versus contracting the work. This hands-on approach gives Core NAP employees a thorough understanding of the data center’s capabilities and ensures optimal energy efficiency and performance practices are followed. “Core NAP strives to be the most reliable and flexible data center partner in Central Texas, and by expanding our facility with a commitment to intelligent green design, we are improving on our ability to offer advanced, custom services at affordable rates,” stated Kenneth Smith, president of Core NAP.
Core NAP has also moved its corporate headquarters to Research Park Place at 12515-7 Research Boulevard, Suite 120, Austin, Texas 78759. The company is leasing 5,500 square feet of office space in the building to house its executive and sales teams plus new disaster recovery office space for customers and conference room capacity for business meetings.
