Core NAP, the most flexible data center solutions provider in Central Texas, today announced the addition of Jeremy Porter as Senior Internet Data Center Architect. In this role, he will manage the company’s hosting services, network architecture, virtualization strategy, and ongoing data center design.

Jeremy Porter brings more than 17 years of IT and networking experience to the Core NAP management team. After founding Freeside Communications, Inc. and serving as president for five years, Porter has held consultant and leadership positions for several leading IT companies including Wayport, VMware and Entisys. “Joining an innovative company like Core NAP gives me the opportunity to participate in some truly advanced technology strategies,” said Jeremy Porter, senior Internet data center architect for Core NAP. “Core NAP is a great fit for my expertise, and the shared vision of the company’s leadership is one of a strong company that is here to stay.”

Core NAP also announced the appointment of Frank Bieser as Chief Marketing Officer. Frank has been serving as Senior Vice President at Core NAP, and will now oversee all of the company’s marketing activities. In his new role, Frank Bieser will utilize his extensive knowledge of Core NAP and the data center industry to further develop all aspects of the company’s marketing strategy, including public relations, sales enablement and the Web site.

Coincident with the new CMO position is the launch of the new corporate Web site, which has been redesigned to offer an intuitive interface with easier access to important information about the company’s data center services. Core NAP’s new Web site features a customer portal with a wealth of client-specific data as well as a new quote request system that provides quick access to rates based on specific data center needs. The site also offers improved navigation and additional information on Core NAP’s data center services.
